Market potential (Marketshore)

Friday of Growth Strategy
Workshop #11

Market potential studies are fundamental...

for the success of any company
seeking to grow in the markets where it operates
or aims to expand. Some of the key reasons why these studies are important include:

Market Size Assessment:
They help companies determine the total size of a market and its capacity to generate revenue.

Identification of Growth Opportunities:
They allow the identification of underserved or emerging markets at a country or regional level. Companies can leverage these opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.

Strategic Planning and Decision Making:
Companies can use this information to make informed decisions regarding product development, pricing strategies, distribution, and marketing campaigns.

Risk Reduction:
By providing a clear view of the market and its trends, these studies help companies mitigate the risks associated with entering new markets or launching new products in existing ones.

Next Friday we will continue with Module 4:
Go-To-Market and Customer Segmentations, where we will explore how to estimate the total economic value of each segment — the “Share of Value” — from a more scientific perspective, along with specific actions for the winning segment using the “Comms Playbook”, which is used when working with PR and advertising agencies to enhance communication and drive sales growth within the same quarter.

The “From SME to Big Company Transformation Fridays” are Onlive Workshops held every week for 3 hours, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM Chicago/CDMX time, where topics on corporate growth strategy are addressed through a program that reviews Harvard methodologies and case studies of the world’s most iconic brands. In each module, I introduce one of the executives from these brands with whom I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate, so participants can ask them questions directly.
